The Kettle Run Cougars won the last time they faced the Liberty Eagles, and things went their way on Friday too. Kettle Run breezed by Liberty at home to the tune of 46-16.
Kettle Run's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Erin Porter, who scored 9 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Carys Gohlmann, who scored 3 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
The victory got Kettle Run back to even at 1-1. As for Liberty, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kettle Run's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Millbrook at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. Liberty will take on Warren County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
