The Central Falls Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They walked away with a 63-55 victory over Exeter-West Greenwich. The win was familiar territory for Central Falls who now have four in a row.
Several Scarlet Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kate Hebert, who scored 21 points along with two steals. Hebert has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played. Emma Mears was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Central Falls' victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Exeter-West Greenwich, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.
Central Falls will head out on the road to square off against the Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Rhode Island (Lincoln is ranked 16th, while the Warriors are ranked 30th). As for Exeter-West Greenwich, they will be playing at home against the Lynx at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Lincoln School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 last Monday.
