They strolled past Charles Page with points to spare, taking the game 67-48. With that win, Owasso brought their scoring average up to 57 points per game.
Owasso found their leader in underclassman Jalen Montonati, who scored 23 points. Another player making a difference was Gabe Patterson, who scored 12 points.
Charles Page's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kooper Kelly, who scored 16 points. Deke Thompson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Owasso and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Charles Page, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Owasso will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Edmond Memorial at 7:30 p.m. As for Charles Page, they will head out on the road to face off against Enid at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
