Cocoa Beach had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Atlantic Sharks on Friday as the Cocoa Beach Minutemen made off with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Minutemen, who have now won ten matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Atlantic with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Scottlynn Canarelli (5), Kennedy Chandler, Ashlyn Bear, and Davyn Dias.

Cocoa Beach's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 61 goals over those eight contests. As for Atlantic, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Cocoa Beach will challenge Astronaut at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cocoa Beach is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.1 goals per game this season. Atlantic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
