The Waller Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Klein Forest Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Waller and six for Klein Forest.
Waller suffered their biggest defeat since December 1, 2023 on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 55-34 defeat at the hands of Tomball Memorial. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Waller in their matchups with Tomball Memorial: they've now lost six in a row.
Klein Forest lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Friday was a bit more commanding. They had to suffer through a rough 74-39 loss at the hands of Klein Oak. While losing is never fun, Klein Forest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 570th, while Klein Oak is ranked 110th).
Waller has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-22 record this season. As for Klein Forest, they bumped their record down to 14-10 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Waller was dealt a bruising 62-33 loss at the hands of Klein Forest in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Waller avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
