Given Shea's advantage in MaxPreps' Rhode Island basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while Woonsocket is ranked 50th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Armani Rivera continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points. She is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Tiyara Gonzalez, who scored eight points.
Despite the loss, Woonsocket saw an underclassman step up: Alanna Colon scored 11 points.
Shea pushed their record up to 16-1 with that victory, which was their tenth straight on the road.
