Waverly faced Lincoln North Star in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Vikings came out on top against the Navigators by a score of 2-0. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Navigators recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Leading Waverly to victory were Emmalyn Quinn and Ansley Real. Quinn had 12 digs, while Real had four digs.

Waverly's victory bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Lincoln North Star, with the loss, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 20-3.
