On Saturday, Anderson beat Garden City 8-5. That's two games straight that the Titans have won by exactly three runs.
Rico Valdovinos was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 5.2 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

In other batting news, Peyton Laforet was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Memphis Davenport was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Carlson made easy work of Lincoln Park on Monday and carried off a 12-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Marauders, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Mason Szozda was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Farago, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Carlson hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive contests.
Anderson's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Carlson, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.
Anderson got the 'W' in their previous meeting two weeks ago against Carlson by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Marauders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
