Everything went their way against the Coon Rapids Cardinals as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
While Centennial won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-7, 28-26.
Elena Hoecke paced Centennial's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hoecke got some help from Chase Manthey and her 23 assists. Annabelle Steinhoff controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Coon Rapids, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-20-2.
