Two dominant  backs in  David Croom and  Myson Johnson-Cook are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Plainfield East Bengals will head out to  face off against the East St. Louis Flyers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Plainfield East got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Brady Cloherty out in front who threw for 147 yards and three  touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.  Meanwhile, East St. Louis is ranked highly in their home state and   on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of IMG Academy. The Flyers came up short against  the Ascenders, falling  38-14. The Flyers have struggled against the Ascenders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 East St. Louis' loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Plainfield East, their record now sits at 6-3.
