Baptist Hill has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They and the Burke Bulldogs will face off at 8:00 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Baptist Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Saturday.
On Saturday, Baptist Hill suffered a tough 65-41 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs.
Despite the loss, Baptist Hill had strong showings from Jaden Douglas, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds, and Rickey Middleton Jr, who scored ten points along with five steals. Middleton Jr is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least three every time he's taken the court this season.
Baptist Hill's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Burke, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.
Baptist Hill might still be hurting after the 65-41 defeat they got from the Bulldogs in their previous matchup on Saturday. Can Baptist Hill avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
