The Ross Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Franklin Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Ross is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
Even though Wilmington scored an imposing 57 points on Saturday, Ross still came out on top. Ross took their matchup against Wilmington 65-57. Given Ross' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while Wilmington is ranked 539th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Franklin lost to Bishop Fenwick on the road by a decisive 60-44 margin on Tuesday. Franklin has not had much luck with Bishop Fenwick recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Kai Cook put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 17 points along with three steals. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Murphy, who scored six points.
Ross now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Franklin, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Ross couldn't quite finish off Franklin when the teams last played back in January and fell 66-64. Can Ross avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
