The Hot Springs Bison's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Alliance 53-26. Hot Springs has not had much luck with Alliance recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Alliance can attribute much of their success to Jaelynne Clarke, who scored 20 points along with five assists and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Clarke has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ciara Hudson, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Hot Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Alliance, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2.
Hot Springs will square off against Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Alliance and Torrington will face off at 5:30 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Torrington presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Alliance in their respective states (Torrington is ranked 54th in Wyoming, while Alliance is ranked 204th in Nebraska).
