The Central Catholic Rams extended their postseason success on Friday against the Lakeridge Pacers. They blew past the Pacers, posting a 42-6 victory on the road. Central Catholic's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Cru Newman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 89 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, while also throwing for 231 yards and three touchdowns. Newman was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 59 yards. Another player making a difference was Tyson Davis, who gained 55 total yards and two touchdowns.
Central Catholic's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Lakeridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.
Central Catholic will head out on the road to face off against West Linn on Friday. West Linn is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Lakeridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
