Maple Mountain can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 64-48 victory over Spanish Fork.
Maple Mountain found their leader in underclassman Leah Bailey, who scored 24 points along with three steals and three blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bailey has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jaynee Tanner, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Cedar Valley's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Maple Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.
Cedar Valley was able to grind out a solid win over the Golden Eagles in their previous matchup back in January, winning 57-45. Will Cedar Valley repeat their success, or do the Golden Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
