Wrangell won the last time they faced Skagway and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wolves came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Natalia AshtoN paced Wrangell's offense, picking up five kills. Ashton got some help from Christina Johnson and her 16 assists. Johnson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Wrangell's win bumped their record up to 3-5-1. As for Skagway, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Wrangell has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Haines on the 17th. As for Skagway, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Petersburg on the 17th.
