Fyffe is 10-0 against Asbury since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Fyffe Red Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Asbury Rams at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Fyffe is ranked 217th, while Asbury is ranked 205th).
Fyffe suffered their biggest loss since November 20, 2023 on Tuesday. They were beaten by Sand Rock 73-42. Fyffe has not had much luck with Sand Rock recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
In what's become a running theme this season, Asbury gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Collinsville with a sharp 37-15 victory. The win was just what Asbury needed coming off of a 52-25 loss in their prior contest.
Fyffe's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Asbury, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.
Fyffe strolled past Asbury in their previous matchup back in November of 2023 by a score of 50-35. Will Fyffe repeat their success, or does Asbury have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
