While DeLand's win against Seabreeze wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs skirted past the Sandcrabs 13-11. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Sandcrabs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Alton Hughes was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those hits marked the first that he has got this season. Another player making a difference was Cristian Baez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

DeLand always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .703. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

DeLand's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Seabreeze, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DeLand will challenge Flagler Palm Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seabreeze, they will square off against University at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
