The Harker Eagles entered their tilt with the Del Mar Dons with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Harker claimed a resounding 53-22 win over Del Mar at home. For Harker, this counts as revenge for the 55-53 loss Del Mar walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
It was another big night for Advay Monga, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Harker's points. Another player making a difference was Kevin Zhang, who scored 7 points.
Harker's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Del Mar, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harker won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Valley Christian at 6:30 p.m. on December 6th. Valley Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 208 points over their last three games. As for Del Mar, they will head out on the road to face off against Basis Independent Silicon Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
