It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-42, which was the final score in Chaffee's tilt against Cabool on Friday. The state rankings had actually given Chaffee a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
The loss dropped Chaffee's record to 1-0. The win bumped Cabool's record up to 1-0.
Next week, Chaffee take on Hayti at 7:00 PM. Cabool will look to defend their home turf next week against Willow Springs at 7:00 PM.
