The Frontenac Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 71-36 loss at the hands of Life Prep. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Frontenac has scored all season.
Among those leading the charge was Yarek "Determine" Russell, who scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Munnings, who scored nine points.
Frontenac's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Life Prep, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
Frontenac will be playing at home against St. Mary's-Colgan on Tuesday. St. Mary's-Colgan's defense has only allowed 28.1 points per game this season, so Frontenac's offense will have their work cut out for them. Life Prep won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Webb City at 5:30 p.m. on January 19th. Webb City has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 517 points over their last seven contests.
