Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lone Peak). They claimed a resounding 76-28 victory over the Lame Deer Morning Stars. With the Big Horns ahead 62-22 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Despite the loss, Lame Deer still got an impressive performance from Semaj Bird, who rushed for 47 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 174 yards and one touchdown. Mylo Roundstone also helped out with an impressive 160 receiving yards.
Lone Peak has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points over those games. As for Lame Deer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
