Basketball Recap: Bill Harris and Maddox Welch Secure Win for South Summit

South Summit put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Carbon Dinos 72-56. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading South Summit to victory were Maddox Welch and Bill Harris. Welch posted 20 points, while Harris had 17 points. Another player making a difference was Jack Johnson, who scored eight points.

South Summit's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Carbon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. South Summit will square off against American Prep WV at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carbon, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mountain Crest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
