Despite the loss, Faith Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lucas Gonzalez posted 27 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gonzalez has scored all season. Tiago Morera-Cuadro was another key player, putting up seven points.
Abundant Life Academy's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Faith Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
