The Archbishop Carroll Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the iMater Charter Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Archbishop Carroll focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Monday.
It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Archbishop Carroll ultimately got the result they hoped for. They had just enough and edged Palmer Trinity out 66-63. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Archbishop Carroll has posted yet this season.
Archbishop Carroll's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Luka Vlahovic led the charge by scoring 24 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Diego Astudillo, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, iMater Charter came up short against Key West on Monday and fell 61-52.
Archbishop Carroll's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12. As for iMater Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
