Franklin Academy won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune last Friday. They suffered a rough 59-35 defeat at the hands of Hillcrest Christian. While losing is never fun, Franklin Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 258th in Louisiana, while Hillcrest Christian is ranked 88th in Mississippi).
Prairie View Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-5 record this season. As for Franklin Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
