Horizon is 3-0 against Brighton since February of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Horizon had a senior duo take command as Alex Mccollum dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds and Brady Greene scored ten points along with nine rebounds. That's the first time this season that Mccollum scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Aiden Greene, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Brighton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They lost to Mountain Range on the road by a decisive 83-66 margin. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Tuesday (56), Brighton still had to take the loss.
Horizon's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Brighton, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-9.
Horizon beat Brighton 66-56 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Will Horizon repeat their success, or does Brighton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
