There's no place like home for Avon, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Avon Lake Shoremen on Wednesday as they made off with a 13-3 win. Considering the Eagles have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Avon's record is now 10-8. As for Avon Lake, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Avon will venture away from home to face off against Strongsville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Avon Lake, they will head out to square off against Steele at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
