Moore Catholic breezed by Amsterdam on the road to the tune of 93-53. Fans of Moore Catholic have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Moore Catholic found their leader in underclassman Emma Costanzo, who shot 4-for-6 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 assists. Costanzo is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Caliri, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds.
Moore Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Amsterdam, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Moore Catholic will take on Ridge View in a holiday battle at 6:55 p.m. on Friday at. Ridge View will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 60th in South Carolina, while Moore Catholic is ranked eighth in New York).
