Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Huntington Beach couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 4-0 to the Chino Hills Huskies on Saturday. The Oilers' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Juliette Foutz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 14 consecutive appearances.

Huntington Beach's loss dropped their record down to 22-8. As for Chino Hills, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-8.
