It was another big night for Sophie Johnson, who scored 25 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. The matchup was her sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Kelley, who scored eight points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Evansville Memorial pushed their record up to 14-3 with that win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.87 points. As for Evansville Mater Dei, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.
