After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Berks Catholic, Tulpehocken was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Pine Grove Cardinals 9-2. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won three contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Grant Gehman made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Gehman was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.
