Ethan Latta Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Dundy County-Stratton's Ethan Latta, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Latta picked up 157 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (105.3). He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 65 yards.
Dundy County-Stratton pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers challenges Alma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Dante Horner put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Thursday. He threw for 177 yards and four touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 73 yards on only seven carries.
This season, Horner has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 134.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 14.67 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 34.5 rushing yards.

Cacy Came Up Big in Arapahoe's 56-16 Victory
William Cacy was instrumental in extending Arapahoe's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Cacy as he rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Alma's probably not too fond of Cacy given he always seems to get the better of them. Cacy rushed for 148 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 49 receiving yards the last time he and the Cardinals duked it out back in September of 2023.

Grayson Koller Delivers Electric Performance Vs Alma
Arapahoe picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Grayson Koller. Koller did his part (and then some), rushing for 122 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries for the 'W'. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
This season, Koller has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 67.7 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 33.33 rushing yards per game.

August Shaw Makes It Three for Dundy County-Stratton
Another Dundy County-Stratton player making an appearance on this list is August Shaw. He picked up 15 receiving yards and a touchdown.
This year, Shaw has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 32.8 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 19.67 receiving yards per game.
