This season hasn't been kind to the Thomasville Bulldogs, who are still winless after their eighth matchup. Their tough 46-24 loss to Bethany on Friday might stick with them for a while.
Haley Ricketts was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds for Bethany. That's the first time this season that Ricketts pulled down eight or more rebounds. Leah Denny was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five steals and four blocks.
Thomasville bumped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Bethany, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10.
Thomasville will be playing in front of their home fans against Ledford at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bethany and Leadership Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Leadership Academy is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
