Aaniya Davis and Madison Sepeda certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Davis went 5-for-12 to rack up 14 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals, while Sepeda posted ten points and five steals. Davis has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played.
Northridge found their leader in sophomore Sophia Carbajal, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 19 boards. That's the most rebounds Carbajal has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey McGeen, who scored 11 points and three steals.
Greeley Central now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Northridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.
Coincidentally, Greeley Central and Northridge will both be playing Mountain View the next time they take the court. Northridge will head out to face Mountain View at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Greeley Central will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
