Sparks was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played two weeks ago.
Despite the loss, Sparks still got an impressive performance from Berenice Moreno Almaraz, who scored six points.
Sparks dropped their record down to 3-12 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.7 points per game. As for Truckee, their win bumped their record up to 8-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sparks will face off against the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nevada (Hug is ranked 90th, while the Railroaders are ranked 85th). As for Truckee, they will take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Valleys has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 449 points over their last seven contests.
