After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jordan, Chapel Hill was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Northern Durham Knights as the Chapel Hill Tigers made off with a 69-49 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.
Chapel Hill's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremiah 'Juice' Mcilwaine, who went 8-for-15 en route to 22 points. With that strong performance, Mcilwaine is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Rollins, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 11 points in addition to six steals and five assists.
Chapel Hill was working as a unit and finished the game with 27 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
