Oswayo Valley is 0-10 against Coudersport since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Oswayo Valley Green Wave will head out on the road to face off against the Coudersport Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Oswayo Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Tuesday.
Oswayo Valley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 65-8 loss at the hands of Otto-Eldred. While losing is never fun, Oswayo Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 515th, while Otto-Eldred is ranked 48th).
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Oswayo Valley struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought contest, but Coudersport had to settle for a 47-44 loss against Port Allegany on Wednesday. Coudersport has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Oswayo Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Coudersport, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Oswayo Valley came up short against Coudersport in their previous meeting back in February, falling 65-56. Can Oswayo Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
