Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Georgetown). They came out on top against the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs by a score of 72-63 on Tuesday. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 58-55 victory the Bulldawgs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2018.

Georgetown has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points per game. As for Copperas Cove, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-6 record.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Georgetown Eagles duke it out with the Wall Hawks at 3:40 p.m. on Thursday. As for Copperas Cove, they will host Temple at 7:00 p.m. on December 17th.
