This season hasn't been kind to the North Charleston Cougars, who are still winless after their fifth match. They were dealt a 73-24 loss at the hands of Timberland on Saturday. North Charleston was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Timberland apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.
Among those leading the charge was China Greene, who scored 22 points along with 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Kennahdi Murrell, who scored 12 points along with 7 assists.
North Charleston's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Timberland, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Charleston will take on Colleton County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Timberland, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Cross at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Cross focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
