North Tampa Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 24 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Barron Collier 80-49 on the road. Given North Tampa Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Barron Collier is ranked 99th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Landyn Colyer and Toni Bryant were among the main playmakers for North Tampa Christian Academy as the former scored 20 points along with six rebounds and four steals and the latter dropped a triple-double on 20 points, 14 rebounds, and ten blocks. The contest was Bryant 's 12th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Archie McFadden , who scored eight points along with 12 assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Lely pushed their score all the way to 60 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 76-60 bruising from Gulf Coast. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Thursday (55), Lely still had to take the loss.
North Tampa Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Lely, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
