Leflore County will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Amanda Elzy in at LEFLORE COUNTY HS at 7:00 PM. Leflore County has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Leflore County had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were given a punishing 0-44 loss at the hands of Greenwood.
Amanda Elzy had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They snuck past Leland with a 18-12 win.
Amanda Elzy's lifted them to 1-0 while Leflore County's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Amanda Elzy can add another positive mark to their record or if Leflore County can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Amanda Elzy's step.
