There's no place like home for Lakewood, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past the Cabrillo Jaguars 24-2 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won three in a row.

Lakewood's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Cabrillo, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coincidentally, Lakewood and Cabrillo will both be playing Long Beach Poly the next time they take the field. The Lancers will host the Jackrabbits at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Jaguars will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
