The Central Hawks will head out on the road to challenge the Calvary Christian Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central will be strutting in after a win while Calvary Christian will be coming in after a defeat.
Central had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Marion County by a score of 64-57 on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Joshua Seldon and Demarcus White were among the main playmakers for Central as the former scored 19 points and the latter scored 23 points. White continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.
Calvary Christian suffered their biggest defeat since November 30, 2023 on Thursday. They were dealt a 89-38 defeat at the hands of Creekside Christian Academy. Calvary Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-20.
The victory got Central back to even at 7-7. As for Calvary Christian, they bumped their record down to 7-12 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
