Heritage Christian is 2-8 against Christian Community since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Heritage Christian Patriots will look to defend their home court against the Christian Community Warriors at 6:00 p.m.
Last Friday, Heritage Christian came up short against Westside Christian Academy and fell 54-42.
Even though Christian Community has not done well against HEARTS for Jesus Christ recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Christian Community walked away with a 46-37 victory over HEARTS for Jesus Christ. The victory was just what Christian Community needed coming off of a 100-67 defeat in their prior contest.
Seth Roberts continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Gabe McQueen, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds and three blocks.
Heritage Christian's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4. As for Christian Community, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.
Heritage Christian was taken down by Christian Community 52-21 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Roberts, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Now that Heritage Christian knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
