Messalonskee won the last time they faced Mt. Blue and Tatum Doucette did his part to make sure it happened again. The Eagles strolled past the Cougars with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 26-7 thanks in part to Doucette, who rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 182 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 75% of his passes. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 104.7 rushing yards per game.

The win got Messalonskee back to even at 3-3. As for Mt. Blue, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
