Larue County has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Green County Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Larue County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,424 points over their last 21 games.
Last Friday, Larue County strolled past the Colonels with points to spare, taking the game 63-47.
Larue County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daniel Allen, who scored 29 points. Allen hasn't dropped below 16 points for 14 straight games. Landon Blakey was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Meanwhile, everything went Green County's way against the Cardinals on Tuesday as the Dragons made off with a 67-47 win. Given Green County's advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Cardinals are ranked 202nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Larue County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Green County, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.
Larue County strolled past the Dragons in their previous matchup on Monday by a score of 63-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Larue County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
