Fairfax is 1-9 against Robinson since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Lions will take on the Rams at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Monday, Fairfax needed a bit of extra time to put away Woodson. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cavaliers, sneaking past 6-4. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Avery Adler spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Amy Hartle was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. Katelyn Huang also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, Robinson made sure to put some runs up on the board against Alexandria City on Friday. The Rams blew past the Titans 13-3.
Robinson also let their pitcher toss all six innings played and she was also dialed-in: Ella Downer gave up just two earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits.
On the hitting side, Robinson got a massive performance out of Marina Palazzo, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Emerson Hersey was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Robinson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Alexandria City only managed nine hits.
Robinson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Fairfax, their record now sits at 3-10.
Fairfax skirted past Robinson 7-6 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
