Veritas Prep won against NFL Yet Academy last Monday with 68 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Veritas Prep Falcons blew past the Santa Cruz Valley Dust Devils 68-45. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.
Several Dust Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nathan Harris, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds. Harris is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Jarius Salazar, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 16 points.
Veritas Prep is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 17-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points over those games. As for Santa Cruz Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.
