The Hurricane Tigers's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Virgin Valley and snuck past 69-66. The victory was just what Hurricane needed coming off of a 76-42 loss in their prior game.
Leading Hurricane to victory were Rj Hurst and Cayleb Jackman. Hurst scored 19 points, while Jackman scored 26 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Quinn Gubler, who scored 7 points.
Hurricane's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Virgin Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
Hurricane will be home for the holidays to greet Delta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Virgin Valley will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Boulder City at 6:30 p.m. on December 15th. Boulder City has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 405 points over their last six matchups.
